PROGRAM

HUFFINES, CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE PLANO AND THE BERKNER HIGH SCHOOL MIGHTY RAM BAND LAUNCH HOMETOWN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Richardson, TX –October 3, 2011 – The Hometown Scholarship Program, presented by local RAM Dealer Huffines, Chrysler Jeep Dodge Plano, along with The Berkner High School Mighty Ram Band announced the launch of the 2011 fundraising campaign that will generate funds for the high school Band program.  The 2011 Hometown Scholarship Program is part of Huffines continuing commitment to our community.  This fall, The Berkner Band members will attend community events to request $5.00 suggested donations in support of the Band.  With each $5.00 suggested donation, 100% of the proceeds go to their high school program.

Individuals who donate to the program may register to win a 2012 Dodge Ram Crew Cab 1500 truck and automatically receive a voucher to redeem a complimentary T-shirt at Huffines, while supplies last.  “We encourage parents, families, neighbors and friends of the Berkner Mighty Ram Band to support this program by providing a suggested $5.00 donation at local events such as hometown football games and other events throughout our community,” stated Huffines, Chrysler Jeep Dodge Plano.  “This innovative program creates money to attend various programs and educational activities, and enhances the development of future leaders.”  Now celebrating its ninth year, the Hometown Scholarship Program has raised more than $7 million for various high school organizations throughout the country.  You may contact Kevin Dilliard, Band Board President, at Dilliard @ sbcglobal.net with any questions.
